About the event
This chicken breakdown class are great for beginners and those who have novice knife skills. We will learn different methods for cutting a whole chicken that will work for any meal of the week! Each participant will go home with their own whole chicken that they cut and prepped for dinner the next day. This class will run about two hours and will be held outside unless otherwise noted. Whether you are a farmer or homesteader looking to learn how to process your own meat, or a home chef interested in knowing more about your food and how to make different cuts, this will cover it all. This will be an open ended class, meaning we will start at 10AM and go until all of the birds are processed. You are welcome tostay for as long as you would like!
Additional chicken cuts will be available for purchase to take home as well as duck and turkey. If you are interested in a turkey, please reach out sooner than later so we can mark it as reserved!
