Wool Comforter
All natural bedding with wool from our small family farm, sewn in St. Peter Minnesota.
From bitter cold to tropic heat, wool is a natural insulator and regulates your body temperature so you can use your comforter comfortably all year round. The tiny pockets within the wool become the same temperature as your body temperature and allow air to breathe. Additionally, wool has a beautiful weightiness to it that feels cozy and similar to a weighted blankets. This allows you the perfect night's sleep.
Did you know that wool also naturally repels dust mites, mold, mildew, and moisture? And at the end of it's life, it's fully compostable! We take our wool from our sheep to St. Peter Woolen Mill in St. Peter Minnesota. There they clean and wash our wool before putting it into batts and finally sewing it into 100% cotton fabric. The wool batting used inside our comforters will compress about 1/3 of its original loft.
Care & Cleaning
Refresh your comforter by bringing it outside on a sunny day for a couple hours and letting the all-natural cotton fabric breathe. You can spot clean the cotton fabric with warm water and a gentle detergent. We recommend rarely washing the entirety of your pillow unless saturated in something unwanted. Fresh air and sunshine will do wonders for your comforter!
To re-fluff your blanket, place it in the dryer on air dry with wool dryer balls or something similar for 20 minutes.
